Math Centers

Math Centers are a great opportunity for students to apply the strategies they have learned during lessons through a game or puzzle. They are most effective when we have parent help! If you would like to help out during these station, please refer to link below.

Students have completed the I-Ready test in language arts and math.  Thereafter, students are encouraged to log onto their I-Ready accounts and complete the lessons at home 3 days a week for 30 minutes. Have your child log onto Clever to access I-Ready

Island of the Blue Dolphins Book Project

Our class has concluded our literature unit on Island of the Blue Dolphin.  To culminate the unit, students will present a one to two minute presentation and share their project with our class on Wednesday, October 17.  Please guide your child in choosing a project related to the book, a suggestion list is provided on the back.  In addition, students will need to write about the project, this piece is meant to help prepare for the oral presentation. The written piece needs to explain what the project is and how it relates to a favorite scene or chapter in the book.
